Having someone that you know die is a rough period of time. If that person happens to be your loving husband, it’s tragic. While for the present time that loved one is only in our memories there certain things we can do to keep the memories vivid in our minds. Many have turned to using their clothes to make or work into a memory quilt. This particular man loved blue cotton shirts (or maybe it was his loving wife) and had an abundance. Presented with multiple 6†squares by his daughters I designed a simple and yet comforting quilt. Some of the squares maintained not only brand name but the pocket. This added a nostalgic touch and interest. Large enough for a bed or for multiple people to wrap up in around the fire remembering good times.
