Bargello has been around for centuries originally as a needlepoint design. Now it has been adopted into quilting and producing beautiful and intricate pieces. This double heart bargello consists of 12 fabrics sewn in a complimentary order and then cut into various widths and stitched together in a descending and ascending order. The variety in this order is what makes the final pattern. Fun to do and even better when done with a quilting buddy. This project was her idea and so happy she included me. We had many laughs, a few mistakes that had to be corrected and fun for an entire week. Thanks Esther!
