Medallion quilts and afghans are something I have not tried until now. I love how the different stitches flow from the centre. Once again a multitude of new and different stitches were used to create a feature piece. This pattern works well in the worsted weight yarn that I used but it would look beautiful done in soft colours with lighter weight yarn to create an heirloom piece to add to baby’s nursery. This afghan can easily be enlarged but simply starting the outer rows over again. So glad I took a chance and tried something new.
