This is an afghan of firsts! First covid project, first time switching stitches every row, first time letting someone else pick out the colours and first time doing such a large afghan in such a small space. I wanted a challenge to keep my mind off our 14 day isolation after returning from Central America. I love how vibrant it turned out and was a pleasure to learn new stitches. Also learned a great method for joining the new colour so no ends have to be woven in at the end. An eye catching afghan full of texture and colour, large enough to more than cover the top of a queen bed.
