This quilt is the perfect pattern for using those fat quarter bundles that are so popular in today’s quilt stores. It not only showcases the fabrics perfectly as they are bordered with a coordinated solid colour but also results in an interesting design. Of course you could use less fabrics and still end up with a stunning result. This time I used long stitch quilting on a diagonal to finish it off. I felt although in contrast to the straightness of the blocks, it paired well with the overall look.
